Breathe
Regulate before you react. Breath is the steering wheel of the nervous system.
THE SPARTAN MONK METHOD
Strength without ego. Calm without passivity. A daily practice for people ready to stop negotiating with themselves.
Begin with 90 seconds ↘[ 001 — PHILOSOPHY ]
Modern life gives us comfort, noise and endless reasons to postpone. The result is not peace. It is a loss of capacity.
Spartan Monk Method brings training back to its purpose: remaining calm, controlled and effective when life becomes uncomfortable.
[ 002 — THE METHOD ]
No hype. No gym dependency. Just short, repeatable practice that makes discipline physical.
Regulate before you react. Breath is the steering wheel of the nervous system.
Build structure through stances, joint integrity and controlled strength.
Recover natural capability through quadrupedal movement and martial flow.
Explore ground movement ↗Use deliberate, safe discomfort to practice choosing your response.
Explore deliberate cold ↗[ THE 90-SECOND RESET ]
One minute can change the direction of a day. The aim is not intensity. The aim is agency.
“YOU DO NOT SUPPRESS EMOTION.
YOU LEARN TO CONTAIN IT.”
[ 003 — THE FOUNDER ]
Scientist. Martial artist. Teacher. Still a student.
Moving to a new country to pursue a PhD in plasma physics was meant to be a new beginning. I built my identity around progress, demanding work and ambitious goals. Then COVID closed the world down. Far from familiar people and places, isolation became loneliness. I was advancing professionally, but inside I felt disconnected, without structure and unsure of who I was beyond my work. It became an identity crisis.
That crisis became a call to rebuild. I returned seriously to the practices that had already shaped my life: Kung Fu, Qigong, meditation, breathwork, physical training and self-discipline. Every day became a chance to train something—my body, attention, emotional state, courage or ability to remain calm under pressure.
My foundation is more than fifteen years of martial arts, many of them spent training under the guidance of Shaolin Kung Fu masters. Over the years I also explored psychology, communication, health, leadership, spirituality and deliberate exposure to discomfort. I eventually understood that these were not separate interests. Together, they formed a practical system for self-mastery.
That integration became the Spartan Monk Method. I first shared it through my online course and now continue through live training, local sessions and online content. This is not the story of someone who has completed the journey. It is the path of someone who decided to train for life—and help others build a strong body, a calm mind and the discipline to become who they know they can be.

You do not need to feel ready before you begin. These are the questions people most often ask before stepping into Spartan Monk Method practice.
Yes. Many people begin exactly there.
The aim is not perfect flexibility. You work within a range you can control, then gradually build mobility, coordination and confidence.
No. The method is beginner-friendly and each practice can be scaled to your current level.
You do not get ready before you start. The practice is how you become stronger, calmer and more capable.
No. Martial arts provide structure, not an ego test.
The focus is controlled strength, breath, mobility, natural movement, coordination and composure—qualities that carry into everyday life.
You can begin with the 90-second Monk Minute. The free 7-Day Reset takes about 5–10 minutes a day, while the core course practice is around 15–20 minutes.
Consistency matters more than intensity.
Absolutely. This is a path, not a race, and there is no falling behind.
Reduce the range, duration or intensity when needed. Return to the practice and progress from where you are today.
No. Cold exposure is optional. It is a tool for practising a calm response—not a test of toughness.
Never force it, stop if you feel unwell, and seek medical guidance if you have a health condition or are uncertain.
Choose the doorway that fits you: read the free Manifesto for the philosophy, use the 7-Day Reset for a simple plan, take the 21-Day Course for a deeper structure, or join a local class for live guidance.
Yes. Spartan Monk Method is designed to complement, not replace, your existing discipline.
